I say a different universe to free up space in the main universe, to encourage people to still play them, and to give people who have rebeaten a chance to rebeat.

I think no. It seems like anyone who beats them in PP2 won't go back to rebeat them in PP1 (making PP1 less relevant) and many of those who beat them in PP1 will dislike having to rebeat them in PP2 (although I understand this is not the case for at least one person).

I feel PP2 Is more of an upgrade to pp1. And even if they got spread out throught the normal worlds i still think they should be in there.

"I do not see it being a problem that PP2 keeps its roots in PP1 a part of itself. Showing that you have some mastery of PP1 within PP2 should reward you. After all you still need those same skills taught to you from the previous game as part of your skill set for this one. If it were possible I wouldn't mind having your standing in PP1 instantly transferred to PP2, but then I also do not mind having to rebeat the levels either. The levels of PP1 were expertly made and chosen and I have completed all of them at least 4 times each and for some even more. Redoing them has not been a pain or chore at any point."

I selected yes, for reasons I've already mentioned in the other thread - basically, PP1 still is a part of PP2, and there really isn't a reason why it shouldn't be considered as such (apart from, "because I feel it shouldn't"). Also...if it's the annoyance of having to run through all 71 levels again...really? Compared to some other PP2 official levels, really?

I voted for yes in a different universe. Personally I found PP1's skins, colors and music much more attractive then PP2's, even though PP2's animations are smoother. That said I don't particularly think the levels should influence PP2's rankings, since the two games are separate. I like having PP1 levels on PP2, but not particularly as part of the officials.

I talked to gamewizzard about this earlier, and he intends to vote for the yes option. He was unsure if he'd be able to get on for the poll and wanted me to let you guys know he's voting for points and levels to be kept in PP2

I think PP1 is very VERY special and precious, but I think it's best to have it separated, because I like to see exactly where I stand in PP2 alone, with no ''point affect of PP1''.
I don't want my percentage in PP2 to be higher, due to the ''71 PP1 levels''.

If it matters: I do not mind rebeating levels (ANY levels: PP1 or PP2 - in fact I enjoy it).

Hey peeps.

I voted yes. Since I'm a member of the "alumni" or whatever you want to call it--a person that was more active during the PP1 and early PP2 days--I think having points for the PP1 levels would show that the player has mastered the difficulty of the game without the added features of PP2, which players should do, in my opinion.
